December 15 We are now signing up for the 2010 Track Season. You can complete the forms online and print 3 copies to bring with you Starting March 1, 2010 through March 20, 2010 at Sylmar High School. Weekdays: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon. Ask for Eli Wells or Patricia Wells at the Registration table.
February 21, 2010 Coaches clinic at Birmingham H.S. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All head coaches must attend and assistant coaches are encouraged to attend. We will need a strong turn out this year and good representation. The cost is free. There will be beginning and advanced classes and arrangements for lunch will be in the morning during registration. You can click on the link http://www.la84foundation.org/3ce/cif_frmst.htm and chose "Registration" under the Track and Field Coaches Clinic on February 21 at Birmingham High School. You can reserve your place early. Also, you will be able to order from Subway cost TBD and delivery will be at Birmingham.
Coaches New Requirement This year there are new requirements for all coaches, assistants, staff and those directly involved with our athletes. The Valley Youth Conference now requires these individuals to complete a light background check to ensure the safety of our children as well as meeting Insurance Company new legal requirements. All information will be kept in strictest confidentiality. No information will be used or exchanged to any non-official VYC or non-Team Executive staff.
